Going strong for almost twenty years, Valley Jazz is a training ground for the young musicians in Imperial Valley. Valley Jazz also features nine Imperial Valley music educators. Founded in 2006, the Imperial Valley band plays both original music and cover songs. Aggressive rock guitar mixed with reggae influenced drums and percussion, tied together by latin feeling basslines, form the unique sound of Emerican Accent.

Pacifc Fire is an Instrumental Ensemble from Imperial Valley College consisting of talented music students from the community. The ensemble specializes in Jazz and Popular Music and perform only during the Spring and Fall Semesters. You can hear them every year at the El Centro Holiday Parade or at the Imperial Valley Fair and Fiesta. They also play for many public and private events (parties, luncheons, wedding receptions, festivals and fund raisers) each year. A small donation is required for most occasions.
